"Property manager forgot to send code for key safe. Managed to get it indirectly by email but no easy contact was forthcoming thereafter. Street door lock cheap and worn. Next door to lobby broken and taped up. Lobby not been cleaned for weeks. Cheap lock on door to apartment. Security practically non existent. Six windows (2 in living room,2 in each bedroom) screwed shut.Not safe , awaiting replacement. Only window that opened for ventilation in kitchen.If open possible to step directly into...

"The booking stated we would receive soap and shampoo. The owner stated that they would not provide shampoo - which I'd not packed. I also had to contact the owner on the evening of our arrival to complain that there was no soap. This was dropped through the letterbox the following morning. The property was not clean. There were dead insects on the window sills of the front room. The kitchen and bathroom were full of spiders which we had to clean up. Basically, we're disappointed not just by...

"Alnwick castle is just steps away, so a great view out the window. You have created a wonderful “home away from home” for visitors to Alnwick and area. We were greeted with a lovely welcome tray of treats, wine and a personal postcard - nice touches indeed. A new, well equipped kitchen. Great communication leading up to our stay and the information binder that is available in the apartment is very detailed. Thank you for the parking pass - much appreciated. "Great communication before arrival. Upon arriving I was met by a lady who showed me to the apartment. I was very happy with the apartment. Everything I needed for a few days. Parking was no problem as the apartments have their own car park. It us a short drive from shops but you don't have to go miles. Would certainly book again if I'm in the area."

"Spotlessly clean, very spacious apartment,design decor very good . Tiny things to mention - property is actually called “ Wagonway” not “ Old Workhouse “ so can confuse when locating it . Would be good if enough dishwasher tabs were supplied - as a say tiny things"

"This property is just as described. It has great views over the birding sanctuary. While it is a bit out of town, it is close enough to explore this coast easily and have a quiet place to relax in between excursions. There is a lift to the first floor where the apartment is and there are stairs inside the apartment to the living and kitchen area. The small bathroom has a shower and the larger bathroom has a tub. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others."
