"Room was filled with biting insects, many squashed on the walls. Very tired and dated room. No drink making facilities in the room. Breakfast was stale pastries which weren't restocked - really not to be recommended sadly. Staff were friendly when we arrived, but different staff in the morning less so."

"I had an excellent stay at H4 Hotel Solothurn. The property is very clean, the staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities are well maintained. The location is convenient and everything is easily walkable. The only challenge I encountered was that parking can be limited when the hotel is fully booked but street parking can be found. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return!"

"A wonderful hotel in a quiet, picturesque town. Excellently located for walks in the hills, just a couple minutes walk to the tram station and plenty of shops/cafés nearby. The room was clean and spacious with coffee machine and fridge. Staff were lovely and very helpful with organising guest pass and explaining how to access the hotel after hours. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Basel."

"This is a great hotel to stay in on or road trip to Italy The room was super comfy and I had a great sleep. The room and bathroom were spotless We booked a table at the restaurant, just as well as it was fully booked. Service and food were excellent. I will definitely be back as we do this trip 2/3 times a year and I’m always on the lookout for a good overnight stay."
