Located directly on a stunning 3 km long sandy beach, the Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park is one of the largest and most popular holiday resorts in Germany. Families in particular will find plenty to enjoy here: The subtropical swimming paradise, the jungle land adventure park, and a waterskiing facility ensure an unforgettable holiday for the whole family all year round and in any weather. From February 16 to June 27, 2025, and from September 7 to June 26, 2026, and from August 30, 2026 to March 21, 2027, you have free admission to the subtropical swimming paradise (limited to 3 hours per day; for longer use, an additional fee will be charged on site). You always have your own terrace or balcony and are just a few steps from the sea. The Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park is surrounded by dunes and natural landscapes and is located near Hohwacht below the island of Fehmarn. The state capital of Kiel is not far away, and the Hanseatic city of Lübeck is also easily accessible from here. Highlights included: All consumption-based energy costs, bed linen, towels, and final cleaning Wi-Fi Activities nearby: The diverse leisure activities also ensure plenty of fun and action: Subtropical Water Park (13 slides, wave pool, saunas, whirlpools), Adventure Jungle Land (high ropes course, climbing wall, children's play area, terrarium landscape, slides, trampoline, laser course), Water Park (fun area with slides, paddle boats, and aqua ball, water ski lift), Adventure Golf (mini golf), and much more. Culinary delights are also catered for: From the Italian "Osteria" to the stylish specialty restaurant "Sonnenrose," the restaurants, bistros, bars, and cafés offer a world of culinary experiences.

De locatie is absoluut perfect, op slechts een steenworp afstand van de Oostzee. Het appartement was ruim en goed uitgerust, wat ons verblijf zeer comfortabel maakte. We hebben echt genoten van het subtropische zwemparadijs.

Mieliśmy świetny czas w Weissenhäuser Strand! Apartament był super przytulny i miał wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy, w tym małą kuchnię do późnych przekąsek, Dzieci uwielbiały subtropikalne kąpielisko, a my mieliśmy nawet czas, aby się zrelaksować na naszym balkonie, Jedynym minusem było to, że Wi-Fi czasami było trochę niestabilne, ale szczerze mówiąc, kogo to obchodzi, gdy jesteś zaledwie kilka kroków od piasku? Zdecydowanie wrócimy!

We hadden een geweldige tijd in Weissenhäuser Strand! Het appartement was gezellig en had een leuk klein balkon waar we genoten van onze ochtendkoffie, Het was super dichtbij het strand, wat voor ons een groot pluspunt was, De kinderen hielden van het subtropische badeparadijs - zo'n leuke manier om een dag door te brengen, Ik wou alleen dat de Wi-Fi iets sterker was, maar over het algemeen was het een feest, Zeker de reis waard, vooral als je van watersport houdt of gewoon wilt ontspannen aan zee, Zou het zo weer boeken!

Problemloses zügiges Einchecken. Das Apartment war früher bezugsfertig, dies wurde uns per SMS mitgeteilt. Die Lage der Anlage ist einfach super. Die Nähe zum Strand ist toll und alles andere ist in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Die Anlage und auch die Apartments sind in die Jahre gekommen, man spürt den Charme der 70er, uns hat es nicht stört. Das Apartment war im Großen und Ganzen ordentlich und sauber. Für ein paar Tage ist die Größe für 2 Personen in Ordnung, für einen längeren Aufenthalt wird es allerdings Grenzwertig mit den gegebenen Platzverhältnissen. Vor allem wenn man sich selbst verpflegen möchte. Wir hatten ein Problem mit dem Kühlschrank, welches leider während unseres Aufenthalts nicht gelöst werden konnte. Nach mehrfacher Reklamation kam uns der Service dann etwas entgegen. Im Park gibt es ein umfangreiches Angebot an Aktivitäten für Groß und Klein, da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Leider ist fast alles mit Zusatzkosten verbunden. Die Preise und Qualität der Restaurants ist sehr verschieden, positiv hervorzuheben: das „Grandmas“ und das „Heimisch“. Sehr unerfreulich ist, dass es nicht genügend Parkplätze in der Nähe seines gebuchten Apartments bzw. Hauses gibt. Vor allem während der Hauptreisezeiten und die Anlage voll mit Gästen ist (wir waren in den Herbstferien da). Man dreht teilweise einige Runden um etwas zu finden wo man sein Auto parken kann und oft ist es dann nicht einmal ein richtiger Platz, sondern irgendwo an einer Hecke o.Ä. und es kann unter Umständen mit 10-20 Minuten Fußweg verbunden sein. Dies kann die Urlaubsfreude dann doch ein wenig schmälern. Uns begegneten die Mitarbeiter stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ein gelungener Kurzurlaub, wir buchen vielleicht mal wieder.

Für einen Ferienpark, der meiner Meinung nach sehr sehr gut für Familien sind, habe ich mich als Kinderloses Paar sehr gut gefühlt. Strand super leer, sauber. Die Umgebung lädt gut zum Wandern ein.
