"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Lower Mill Estate has a wonderful network of paths and trails around some of the most beautiful lakes in the Cotswolds. Having now stayed here for nearly two months between sellling and buying a new property I know most of the area really well. It is wonderful to see many different species of birds and water fowl and to know about the beaver project - although sadly I never actually saw a beaver. The Ballyhoo also provided much needed coffee on occasions and was always welcoming."

"High quality spacious accommodation in a unique historic location, very pleasant quiet corner in the charming town of Malmsbury. Parking ok once we had figured out the long stay park was close by. Ameneties in cottage good although kitchenware could do with a few more items to facilitate cooking. Comfortable beds and a relaxing living room"

"Lovely peaceful Barn in a very convenient but quiet location. Everything you could wish for. Very warm greeting by the host, we cheekily arrived 20 mins early due to a downpour and it was no trouble. Highly recommend."

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."

"The photos really don't do the sheer tranquility of the settinf justice. Total isolation in the cotswolds, beautiful surrounding scenery. The house is nice if not new spec on all the funishings, but the real win is the location and the setting. Perfect for our group of friends who wanted to relax and stay up late drinking and chatting and enjoyinf the hot tub. But I'd also come back with my family any day of the week. If you do stay, check out the Rose and Crown in Shilton for a great meal."

"We stayed here for my sisters hen do and had the best time! The house was great (although you could use some more mirrors around the place but us girls made it work 😂). The secret garden was a nice place for sunset drinks and there’s a bigger field we were able to use for laser clay pigeon shooting! The grounds are beautiful. "The venue was amazing, Kelly from Manor House estate was extremely helpful and the kitchen and cleaning supplies were well stocked with all that you can need. The bedrooms were comfortable and the location was perfect. All guests had a really great time."
