The staff was polite and professional; the hotel was clean and appeared well maintained, and the outside surrounding area was respectable. My only issue with my stay was that when you turned the AC unit to high, it made a loud squeak, so we had to keep it on low.

We traveled in for a K State game. The room was clean, the only thing I noticed was the strong smell of the cleaning solution. We left and came back and the smell was mostly gone. We will stay again!

First off, it’s probably the best option if you’re looking between Salina & Topeka in terms of safety and placement. It’s old but the breakfast was all really above average. The biggest issue we had was the smell in our room. It smelled like huge amounts of pinesol covering up a chainsmokers room. It was a lot. The water pressure was pretty bad. There weren’t any plugs near the nightstand. It was just an old smelly hotel. Not the worst. Breakfast was a relief. I hope they can afford some upgrades at some point because it’s likeable.

Friendly staff! Nice outdoor pool (except someone using it daily for giving children swim lessons). It's a small pool & guest trying to relax don't like the shouting...."Kick! Kick! Kick! Kick!". Seems the pool was rented to the person giving swim lessons as they were not guests. They came & went from town. But, there are only 2 hotels in the area.

There is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage or difficulty walking, probably should request the first floor. My room had a musty odor but was clean. Breakfast was good and enjoyed having a coffee pot in the room.
