I wanted to love this place.

I wanted to love this place but the standards for the money was subpar…. Getting towels cleaned and delivered daily with the cleaning service was an issue the restaurant service was horrible as of there was no management at all…. Slow service not attentive at all … waited 22 minutes for a cappuccino at breakfast… then when the food finally came it’s was cold and not cooked to the temp I asked it for. Wouldn’t stay again…. Not for what they are asking to stay here.

Schitterend hotel!

Zeer leuke plaats met prachtig zicht over de oceaan.De zeer grote kamers zijn prachtig.Het interieur een parel.De ontvangst aan het onthaal was heel hartelijk.De bar is een cozy place..zeer mooi ingericht.Ook het welness center even vermelden.De beste massage ooit en een goede gezichtsverzorging.Het avondeten en ontbijt is zeer lekker en verzorgd,echter hier kan1dame vriendelijker zijn.Spijtig van het zwembad is iets te klein.Toch was het een plaats om zeker terug te keren.

Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung

Als ich das Bay View Hotel im Internet gesehen haben, wusste ich sofort, da moechte ich hin und meine Erwartungen wurden sogar noch übertroffen. Das Zimmer war wunderschön (wir hatten ein deluxe Zimmer mit Couch und kuechenzeile gebucht) , modern eingerichtet und vor allem sehr sauber! Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen im Restaurant ist top, auch das Fruechstueck lässt keine Wünsche offen (guter Kaffee :-)! Wichtig vielleicht zu wissen ist, dass das Hotel in einer relativ neuen Gegend ist, das heisst es ist noch viel im Aufbau dort. Zusammenfassend: Empfehlung :-)

Hotels.com worst site to book accommodation

I booked via Hotels. Com and when I arrived at the hotel they did not have a family room or interleading room. I contacted hotels.com and chatted to an agent by the name Alvin. The booking was cancelled with hotels. com and the agent confirmed the cancellation and full refund. The hotel receptionist contacted the manager of the hotel and a full refund was confirmed. Two days later I contacted hotels.com only to realize the accommodation was not cancelled. They were only able to refund the two days an not the first day. I will never use hotels.com again.

Lovely stay

Lovely hotel and views. Love the layout of the rooms. Clean rooms. Love the additional amenities in the room e.g. microwave, refrigerator, plates and cutlery in case you need to use them. Great location - situated midway between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, beach is a few meters away, pool playground and braai facilities close by. Friendly and helpful staff. Receptionist arranged our local tour activities which was appreciated. Lovely restaurant which surpasses local restuarants by far. Breakfast was average. Negative: No shower caps provided although rooms only have showers. Room service trays and food covers are a necessity - it is not ok for plates for room service orders to be carried by hand and further not be covered.
