"Excellent location for Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station. Nice area with cafes etc off the Main Street. Only downside were wobbly tired stools to sit on, lack of toiletries and it was very hot although a portable fan was provided. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful."

Our room was on the top floor so up several stairs, quite narrow & winding towards top. Room was lovely, appeared recently decorated with good quality, modern carpets, curtains & furniture. "This is a pub with sports bar that rents out room as a hotel. We were offered a welcome drink which was lovely. The bed was huge which was lovely but the pillows need to be replaced, they were uncomfortable. The room was on the small side but we have stayed In smaller. The room and bathroom were clean and had everything that you need. Breakfast starts at 7.30 but we asked if we could have it a bit earlier as we were going to the US embassy but this was declined. "Great location! Place is small but nice. Got a room on the top floor and the view is great. Plenty of good restaurants and pubs nearby. Victoria Station and Victoria Coach Station are a 10 minute walk. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. When you step out of the front door you immediately know that you are in London. No elevator but I was traveling with just one small bag. "

"I loved the old artistic decoration and flowers growing in backyard. The Pub served great food. Staff were exceptionally friendly and nice hospitality. What i did not realize I was too old for carrying my luggage on narrow steps; going out of room to bathroom or showering. I am done with college dorm lifestyle for my own safety of a possible fall downwards with my big feet on narrow steps. Sorry!"

"This was our first visit to London, and we had a great stay at the Jesmond Hotel. The manager was very friendly and helpful, and served a tasty, made-to-order breakfast each morning. The hotel is conveniently located within a 10 minute walk of a tube station, sightseeing buses, a grocery, and the British Museum. "

"Place was convenient to the tube station, friendly staff, reasonably priced breakfast. Clean room , fresh sheets. I have no issue with the small bathroom, however a bathroom mat outside the shower would be preferred also to prevent accidental slipping from water splash. I would book again on my future visit."
