"We had a lovely stay at Pinewood and would happily stay here again. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Queenstown town centre, making it very convenient while still being in a peaceful setting. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the accommodation is a little dated in some areas, and soundproofing could be improved. "Great room! No faults, the bed was heated and warm through out my sleep which was great. Such a good little surprise to check into. Location was great to walk into town under 5 minutes just down a big hill and then up again and back to the hotel. Highly recommend! Will stay again! A bit outdated but looking at the other hotels they’re all the very similar. Loved the free water to fill up your bottle while you’re on the go!"

"We found the staff to be polite and helpful however there were a few issues during the stay. When we arrived the room was cold and not preheated which isnt ideal in mid winter. No heat pump just a small heater that wasnt working so we had to ask reception to replace it. The electric blanket on bed didnt work and needed to be replaced as well. Bathroom extraction fan didnt work and shower built into a very high bath, difficult to get in and out of. Staff did best to help but i wouldnt stay...
