Waterside Inn

"The complementary breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for additional towels. The pool was nice. The air conditioner worked great and the balcony was facing the water which was very peaceful and pleasant, giving us spectacular sunset views each night. Location was convenient to nearby restaurants on Main Street and other shops. The room and bathroom were a bit dated, sink and faucet were not clean and there was trash in the nightstand drawer; no maid service during our 3-day stay. The microwave and fridge worked fine. There were a lot of mosquitos in the stairwell and elevator on the last day of our visit and we had bites from a few of them. Otherwise it was a good hotel."

"Blufin is a great place to stay on Chincoteague Island. My family of 4 never felt cramped inside the boathouse bungalows. The location is great, the furthest we had to drive to anything was 20 minutes(assateague beach), everything else was within 10min. The only thing which is no fault of theirs, is if you have a small child then maybe don’t rent the boathouse, spring for the one on land. I have a 2yo and was always a bit worried when coming and going on the docks (again, not their fault or problem). Overall the stay was fantastic and we will be back next summer"
Key West Cottages

"Property is in an ideal location. Very clean. I was not a fan of the digital key, but there was an option to get a real key card. Pool is lovely and the cleaning staff do a phenomenal job. We stayed for 6 nights. Considering what we paid, it would have been nice to be allowed one room refresh by housekeeping during the week, which I requested but was told no. I was told to walk to the office for toilet paper/towels, etc, which is fine but considering what we paid, stocking enough toilet paper (we had 2 small rolls), and a coffee pod per person for each day of the stay, and more than 2 creamers) and coming through to refresh the room if requested would have been nice, almost expected. There were no basic instructions left, for stuff like how to get into the pool (there are 3 different options for the pool and we had to shuffle through all of them in the app the get the door to open- maybe label the gates?), no check out instructions left and I didn't receive a response to my request for the checkout instructions in a timely manner. But these things are minor and didn't really ruin our stay, just sharing as FYI. Beautiful place and great memories made."
