"Very central hotel, just a 5 minute walk from the train station. The communal areas are lovely and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms need a bit of TLC. Scuffed floors, chipped woodwork, chips in the bathroom basin. They just need a bit of attention to detail. The pillows are very small and extremely soft so it's worth asking the staff at reception for more supportive, ergonomic pillows. There are 2 thin single duvets on a double bed. No double duvets are available. There is a courtyard across the street that plays very loud music. It doesn't go on too late but if I had a baby or a young child, this would have been a problem. Even with the windows closed tight, it was still very loud. Overall, it's a lovely hotel with a central location. If they refreshed the rooms a bit, it would be great."
