"We had an amazing stay at the Old Wharf Cottage in Windsor. The home is amazing and a wonderful location. We loved having the pool, bbq and area for croquet. It was easy to get around town with our rental car or Uber. The hosts were great and easy to connect with as needed. This was one of the key highlights of our two weeks in the UK. The neighbourhood was very pretty and the closest 'high street' had a wonderful Turkish vibe - great baklava! There were also other great high streets within walking distance, each unique. "Stayed over at this property for a ladies retreat. It was a spacious place as described but unfortunately meant that it took forever to heat up and some rooms never got warm. Would avoid in the winter months unless you have a portable heater. The owner did bring us wood for the fire place so used that - very pretty and warm. "Excellent comfortable cottage, very well equipped, spotlessly clean, with amazing views across the farmland beyond. Some nice local pubs within a couple of miles for food and/or drink. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return. Highly recommended."

"Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. "The location of the property was as expected with the furniture clean. The description did not mention parking or assistance with this so it was annoying to find out that you can park outside on the single yellow during certain times - neighbours park there though knowing it is a rental. Our biggest disappointment was the kitchen which was not fully equipped. No microwave, toaster, tea towels, oven dishes, frying pan, chopping board, standard utensils etc. We planned on having Christmas lunch...

"We did not want to leave Chapel Cottage. It is a lovely home. We enjoyed the comforts of the cottage, the walk across the green to the excellent pub, and the ability to hike/run/bike on great trails and footpaths right from the cottage.
