"Great escape from the city, nestled in an area that is close to beaches and amenities but with the feeling like your hours from anywhere due to the picturesque landscape and seclusion that surrounds the property! A place that really does allow you to switch off and get back to nature! Gabrielle was an awesome host! Would definitely stay again, a note for dog owners to keep in mind is that there were quite a few dogs roaming off leash up and down the street that the property is on and on a few occasions over our stay we did have 2 different dogs come into the property directly - whilst they were friendly enough and it is hard to securely fence acres of bush land, it does make supervision of your dogs and kids significantly more important to ensure you can enjoy the beauty of the property. Importantly, Gabrielle was a fantastic in this situation and quickly responded to my concerns, advising the neighbours of the dog being inside the property ensuring our safety. Overall a great stay!"

"We loved our off-grid stay at the Moorings with our own private jetty. The orchard, veggie patch and chickens were a real treat for our little ones! We also loved our daily visit from Lily (the dog)!! We had the perfect long weekend getaway and felt at home on the property. 😊"

"Really lovely property with a fabulous property manager (owner). Luisa was absolutely amazing to deal with, she responded to any questions immediately and went out of her way to send us additional info she thought we'd find useful. The property is lovely, with an enclosed garden which was great for our Staffy, Loki. So we could let him roam free in the garden without having to worry about him. The property is right near the lake, and in short driving distance to some lovely beaches, shops and markets. Would definitely stay here again. Our only issue during our stay was that it was incredibly hot the first two days, and the umbrella on the patio wouldn't open up, so we weren't able to sit outside. But there is airconditioning which was a blessing. Had a lovely stay, thanks Luisa."

"The location of the property was perfect for what we needed & was easily accessible. The host was there when we arrived & gave us all the necessary details. Only issue was the main bed that occasionally made a noise as if it was about to collapse as you got in or moved. (It didn't collapse, thankfully!)"
