I read previous reviews and the trail down to the lake is a hike but what we expected for experienced hikers like us. The location also was not a problem. We plan for everything. All the hiking spots are 15 to 45 minutes away but for sceultions it was great. Cookeville is not but 20 minutes away. "We loved our stay here. Very spacious, private, and clean, with comfortable beds. Has everything you need. You just need to get coffee, groceries, etc. Lots to do in the area. Only one bathroom but it was fine with us four adults. Loved my morning coffee on one of the decks but especially in the front on the rocking chair. Would definitely return! "

"Our stay was short but sweet. It was a one night stay while traveling to our final vacation destination. The best feature of the cabin is its screened in porch facing the wooded area around it. Other cabins are on the property but it was a peaceful place to sit and relax. The owners had just lost a member of the cleaning staff, but they were quick to make sure that clean bedding was put on the bed after we arrived."

"Some of our family decided to camp out at fall creek falls and me and my wife tagged along but she didnt want to sleep in a tent so I found this lodge for us to stay at which was only about 5 miles from the Fall creek falls campsite. The owner provided excellent communication and we really enjoyed our time there. The place was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

"This comfortable cabin kept us cool after our adventures during the heat wave. Well stocked and nice furniture. We enjoyed our time. That road right before arriving the cabin needs attention. It should be just turned to gravel and the concrete pulled out. Big ledges and holes to traverse. As the listing said DO NOT rent this if you have a low clearance vehicle. Luckily we had 4x4 trucks."

"This was a great cabin in a beautiful neighborhood. Four of us were there for the calf killer triathlon in Fall Creek Falls. The house was an easy 15 minute drive. The fifth person was on a multi day motorcycle tour of the Smokies. The layout was great with a big kitchen/dining area that facilitated all of us cooking/prepping in the kitchen together. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the screened in porch was. We were out there every morning and every evening. The hot tub was a nice bonus....
