Wallaroo Wines homestead is a beautiful house in a great location with views of the vineyard and the hills. It was a very comfortable place to spend a relaxing weekend with good friends and we hope to be back again next year!
Carolyn's place is just amazing; lovely house and spectacular surroundings and perfect for a large extended family group as we are. The house is beautifully provisioned, Carolyn is lovely to deal with and very accommodating. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back.
We loved the house and the surrounding area. Just beautiful ,, great place to relax and enjoy the countryside . The house is very comfortable and well equiped.
Would recommend Wallaroo to all for a great stay.
We had a very enjoyable time at Wallaroo Wines staying with my family who came out from England for my daughters wedding. The house and grounds were amazing.
The property is beautiful and surreal
This is our 2nd stay and we have built a lovely rapport with Carolyn, its great to have a lovely place to relax after hectic days at Summernats
This year we added the tiny house to our accomodation and it was set up so well its defiantly worth a look. We will be back
Loved Wallaroo wines homestead.
Beautiful house with most accomodating hosts. Very comfortable to stay with 2 or many more people.
Easy access to everything even though one feels out in the middle of nowhere. Just brilliant.

Terrible host, and unclean and poorly maintained.
I do not recommend this host, at all. The property is set in a beautiful area with a great view of the hills, however the host is the worst I have ever dealt with after many years of travelling. The host got our dates confused and double booked the property so we had to reorganise the entire family to suit her error. We were promised a early check in but the host forgot that she had other guests, so cancelled that promise, second day of our stay we received a note on the door, and five emails from the host advising that we had not paid for our stay, and that we should immediately pay the amount into her private account. Stayz you really need to investigate this host, as she has ruined our holiday and bordered on harassment. Our stay was paid in full prior to our arrival and I had proof of payment to which I had to email to the host before she stopped harassing us.
Lovely location from which to do the Canberra wine areas. Beautiful views of the Brindabella Ranges. Philip and Carolyn were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay - nicely equipped kitchen and lovely to sit beside the fire with a good glass of wine in the cool evenings of autumn!
Property was beautiful with a great layout for us as the 5 bedrooms were all large and comfortable, the sitting, lounge and dining rooms had ample space for everyone, and kitchen facilities were good. The outdoor areas were spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views. It had been raining for 2 weeks constant before we arrived, so there some cobwebs around outside only, but that was unavoidable due to conditions. Carolyn the owner was very prompt with answers to my queries, and extremely helpful, also came down to welcome us and I the whole house was comfortable and beautifully decorated. A very good property for a stay in serene countryside, with the local wallabies for morning walk company.

Summernats stay
The property and house was beautiful but needs some Maitanance.
For the price of our accommodation and the service & cleaning fees I feel it wasn’t as well kept as it could be.
We were asked not to use the hose at the property for our show cars and we thought that was a bit rude.
Overall we enjoyed the serenity of having lovely beds and a quiet place to come back to each night.
Beautiful location with views over the vineyard and surrounding countryside. Well-appointed with fully equipped kitchen and several areas in which to relax, both indoors and on the patios. Large bedrooms and spacious lounge room.
The space provided makes Wallaroo a great place for catching up with a group of friends. If you don’t wish to leave the house the surrounds are wonderful, however with Brindabella Hills Winery only a kilometre down the road it is definitely worth the effort to leave the house to check it out and book i. For lunch...oh and you can’t miss the opportunity to visit Helm Winery at Murrumbateman. Over all Wallaroo is a great base.
A magnificent property in a a picturesque and quiet location not far from Canberra. The house is very comfortable with all amenities and has great views in all directions.
This property is amazing and Carolyn the owner is one of the best I have dealt with. She is extremely helpful, prompt in returning messages and always easy to contact. The house when we first walked was beautiful and a lovely fresh smell and very clean. Everything you ever needed was there for you to use. We had some cold days yet the house was cosy and warm. We are organising to stay again next year. I would recommend this property, it is truely first rate.
Great location with wonderful view of the vineyard and surrounds. Outside entertainment area provides alternative options for pre dinner drinks and canapés.
Layout of house and facilities excellent. Large kitchen and two lounges makes this place great for families or groups. Bedrooms are of a generous size.
Host made booking easy and was contactable for any queries. Would highly recommend.
Wallaroo Homestead is a beautiful, modern and comfortable house perfect for large groups. The property is in a spectacular rural setting, about 30 mins from Canberra. The house is large, spacious and very well equiped with two living areas, a large kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms. The beds were all very comfortable. We were toasty warm in the house, even in mid winter. Highly recommended. We're already talking about going back next year!
