"Right down road from Badlands and several blocks from downtown Wall. Downtown has Wall Drugs and some restaurants but nothing else. Our main attraction was the Badlands as we worked our way to Custard State Park. Cabins were nicely decorated and cozy. It’s off main road so there is no view but was not noisy. We would stay there again."

"Second stay in a week at the Wagon Wheel Motel in Wasta, SD (because we like it that much). Fantastic little place -- fully rehabbed with comfortable beds, kitchenettes, back deck, front porch, easy parking and all the important little stuff. I do recommend bringing a few groceries with you, or prepare to dine in an adjoining town (Wall) -- the Wasta Bar rocks, but kitchen "may" be closed for various reasons. Awesome place for a cocktail or two though!"

"These are very comfortable cabins right at the south tip of Badlands National Park, it's actually in the park. The sunsets over the ridges outside the door are spectacular. You must arrive before 7pm to get checked in though, as the reception desk closes up when the restaurant/gift shop in front does. The cabin is well kept, spacious, and has good wifi. A small porch with chairs makes for a nice dusky evening with a glass of one of the local wines (sold at the shop). You can't get closer to the...
