It really is an old inn. It is beautiful but not pretentious. I imagine each room is unique and comfortable in its own way. If I have a chance to come back, I'd do it!

Nick met us and was very friendly and helpful! It was unusually hot in NH but he had our room cool when we arrived. The bedroom and shower were just what we needed but the surprise was the breakfast that was prepared for us the next morning! It was easily a $30-35 breakfast and tasted wonderful! The location is a tad remote but we were very pleased with The Wakefield Inn and would definitely stay again.

Das Zimmer groß u noch gemütlicher😁 mit einem freundlichen Bad u allem was benötigt wird. Zu empfehlen ist das Frühstück, welches auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet u reichlich serviert wird u voll lecker war. Wir fühlten uns jedenfalls rund um wohl👍😃

Fabulous Bed and Breakfast

Wonderful stay- only for one night unfortunately. Bed was so comfortable with super silky sheets. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

A lovely country inn

We knew nothing about this place before arriving. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised. It is a traditional old country inn with all the charm and idiosyncrasy typical of these buildings Our room was spacious, decorated with antiques and a very comfortable king bed. (You should be aware there are no TVs--just a small library and collection of games.) We were greeted by co-owner Christina, who is also chef at the in-house restaurant. Unfortunately for us, we were not able to have dinner there because the restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday. However, if the food she prepared for us at the free breakfast is any indication, we might well come back for a dinner at another time

This is a lovely bed and breakfast, with a small but very good restaurant, in central NH. We were looking for a safe, quiet spot to stay in for a nearby wedding, and Wakefield Inn was just right.

Wonderful historic 200 year old inn. Wide Board floors, hand hewn beams, multiple fireplaces. Nicastro family inn keepers and excellent chef, delicious breakfasts and Italian menu in the restaurant.
