Perfect place to stay and relax

We stayed for two nights and everything was perfect. The room was clean, and the wood decor was perfect. Dinner and breakfast for both days were different, it was both very nice food!!

This place was so great I wished I could have stayed longer. The only warning I have is that it is on a mountainside so you will need to bring food with you or take buses/taxis for your lunch and dinner.

Isolated location with a great view.

Fantastic immersion in Japanese culture with a gorgeous view of the Sea of Japan and the fishing village. Top rate Onsen. Used the shuttle but we were not provided with the pick up location which was very difficult to find. Make sure you book it as it only leaves once a day. The room had no hot water, even though we were informed to run the tap. The heater was in need of cleaning. Very isolated location with no access to other food options. Be prepared for this.

Wonderful baths, beautiful views, delicious Japanese food, exceptionally warm and helpful staff. Truly a wonderful get away. The chef graciously accommodated our vegetarian diet. Staff made sure all our needs were met and helped facilitate transportation for a day trip to Nachi Falls. Amenities were thoughtful. Grounds were under some renovation during our visit, but it was peaceful and very enjoyable. Wakayama station was a convenient hub for coming and going.

お部屋は綺麗で、部屋付きの露天風呂も快適でした。ただ、大浴場はやはり古いホテルなのでどうしても脱衣所も狭く、お風呂も古さが否めなかったので、部屋にお風呂があってよかったと思いました。 でも、ご飯は何を食べても良い味付けで本当に美味しかったです。特に朝ごはんの白米の上に釜揚げしらすをたくさんかけていただいたご飯は美味しくて、おかわりもオッケーだったのでおかわりしました。

日本のアマルフィと呼ばれる景色がとっても美しかったです。海をながめるテラスもあって、いろいろな工夫が感じられるお宿です。お食事が最高においしい宿です。鮮度最高、美しく、上品なお味で、サービスも行き届いています。海を見ながら入る温泉も素晴らしい。色や匂いのない温泉で、お湯がやわらかくとてもよかったです。歴史あるお宿なので、棟によってお部屋の雰囲気が違うようです。
