"This was a comfortable cozy home that gave us the break away we were looking for. A quiet setting with plenty of games for the kids and blackball close by we had plenty to do. Our hosts provided immediate responses to any questions and were really friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again."

"I loved the quiet, the charm & character of the 1940s building, the collection of antique medical objets & historic local photos. It was cosy and a comfortable warmth thanks to the central radiator heating throughout. I was definitely not too hot in my room. Very clean & all the facilities that I needed - access to a large freezer & a bath was a welcome added bonus also. Lovely grounds. Very friendly, helpful & welcoming service from the manager Shontal."

"A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. For a last minute booking, it worked out well and appreciate the good communication from Brent. Review by ‘All Others’."
