"Good location just out of town. Beach out front of the motel with lovely views of the sunset over the beach. Comfortable bed, electric blanket, good shower pressure, was able to watch the rugby game on tv because there was Sky Sport and movies in the room. Host had turned heat pump on prior to visit and text instructions on key."

"A Tranquil Hideaway in the Bush – Perfect for Cyclists and Nature Lovers We had a fantastic stay at this unique property nestled in native bush, perched above the stunning Karangahake Gorge. The location is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful views and easy access to the local cycling trails — an ideal base for exploring the area. The accommodation itself was a brilliant mix of modern design and quirky timber touches, clearly crafted with care and creativity. The outdoor bath set amongst the trees was a standout — the perfect way to unwind after a day on the bike. Corrie, the host, was warm and helpful throughout our stay. It would have been lovely to meet her and the family in person, but everything was well communicated and thoughtfully arranged. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, off-the-beaten-path getaway with comfort, character, and a real connection to nature. "
