"This by far us an amazing little spot, absolutely stunning. Mark was such a lovely and welcoming host (even had some treats and breakfast items available) The cabin i think is quite romantic and with such short notice on trying to find accommodation that would allow pets i will definitely recommend the retreat. There is a small lake to use a paddleboard, dinghy and 2 kayaks (which are provided). We cannot wait to come back. Thanks again Mark ☻ "

"A great place to stay with a family and a great location. House was clean and tidy and the space was great with two living rooms and plenty of safe area for the kids to play. We would stay again for sure if going back to Waipu. Only recommendations would be the low coffee table in the main lounge needs to shift it’s not safe for families with young children.
