Tane Mahuta Kauri tree
The largest kauri tree known to stamd in New Zealand, thought to be up to 2500 years old. Almost 14 metres girth and over 50 metres tall, an immense tree.
Tame: Lord of the forest. Oldest and tallest. Son of Sky father and Earth mother. He tore his parents apart, breaking their embrace to bring light, space, air and allowing life to flourish.
