"Property is right on the lake, with great privacy and still a stunning view, beds were super comfy and all made up with top quality linen, and everything was very well described, with very detailed information about everything. Rob met us at the property and explained in detail all aspects of the house. Being locals who often book baches, we could probably have had less information at this stage given the supporting handouts. The gas fire does not work, and heating is automated that is set by...

"Neighbouring properties made us very nervous to start with. No issues though and enjoyed our stay. Made the booking through a different website. Charged us for an extra night. Tried to communicate prior to check in. No luck and no reply. Overall experience very disappointing. Scared to use Bookabach or Bachcare again."

"We felt instantly at home in this lovely place. The place is modern, super super clean, and comfortable. It has a big kitchen and living room where we were able to do some work related computer work a bit. The host went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She had milk and eggs in the house for our first breakfast. It's in a quiet neighborhood. If I return to Rotorua, I am definitely staying at her place again."

"Stunning house, very clean, amazing views. Probably not ideal for young kids being right on the cliff. Also one of the bedrooms is located outside the house where young children might not feel comfortable sleeping. Gas ran out after our first night, Property Manager did sort the issue out but we had limited hot water & heating for half a day which isn't ideal, perhaps something that should be checked prior to guests arriving."

"Beautiful view of the lake taken in from the super comfy armchairs. Enjoyed swimming, paddleboarding and relaxing by the water. Lucky enough to see a plane landing, the airport is very close but really quiet and not a disturbance at all. Short drive into town with loads of shops nearby too."

"A beautiful presented little cottage, tucked away in a peaceful setting. We had such a lovely break away in a perfect location not too far away from the beautiful lakes and activities in Rotorua. The cottage had everything that we needed, was comfortable, clean, and had the added bonus of electric blankets for the cold wintery evenings. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"The house was exactly as described, but “some road noise” was not very accurate. We left a day early as we basically got no sleep in the studio - not because of the noise (but it was constant - we live quite close to a reasonably busy road ourselves) but it was the shaking every time a truck went past and that was very very regularly . It was fine during the day, as there was other noise about and we didn’t spend any time in the house, but when quiet at night it was quite an experience!"
