"I regret not getting ocean view. They put me on the 3rd floor and the view was a big tree in the way to at least view a bit of the ocean. Oh well, it’s not the trees fault lol. The hotel is clean and the pool is excellent. The bathroom in my room was a bit small. The bathrooms do not have ventilation so that’s not good. The public restroom near the lobby needs attention. "Jo and Cody were awesome. Hotel was basic but I didn't go to Hawaii to stay in my hotel room. The beds were very comfortable and it was an easy walk to Ala Moana. "

"Wonderful tranquil beach. Great access to ocean. No pool but the tranqil feeling of the beach made up for it. Not normal Waikīkī vibe. We liked it. Had a visit on the beach by a monk seal. Go see the Aquarium next door. $5 if you are over 65. Best fish and beautiful coral sightings without getting wet. Some of rooms did not have elevator access. Staff was very helpful and friendly. "
