Decent stay in a lovely community
The condo itself is quite nice. The space is good, the beds are decent, the bathrooms are really good-sized, and we enjoyed the lanai. Issues that were less than desirable were that this condo offered little by way of accessories. We have stayed in Hawaii three times now and this is the first time we have encountered a condo that only provided cheap, thin beach towels. Granted, it was not listed that more was offered, we have just always found more. Our other stays included tennis rackets/balls, beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, etc. This is not a star against them, just something worth noting. Our one large disappointment was that this condo offered AC and our Ac was out for 48 hours. We contacted the facility and were told, "we'll contact our maintenance guy, but he might not want to come out on a Sunday." That is poor service. Essentially we went 48 hours in a condo that is not designed to create any kind of cross-breeze, so we were pretty miserable for two nights of sleep. My husband contacted them the day we left because the original gal he spoke to said she'd look into compensating us (she never go back with us). The final conversation my husband was told "we don't usually do this, but we'll comp you 10% for your trouble." My husband was grateful and felt we'd received a good response. However, the compensation was 10% of one night's stay. We have received much better service and response times for issues other places.
