We wanted a base to explore Waitomo caves, comfortable and dog friendly, this ticked the boxes. Furnished comfortably, warm and clean. Only needed to bring our food and personal items, linen and towels were privided. If youre looking for a place to relax and step back from the bustle, this place is perfect"

"There really isn't much in the area, but anything that was there was included in a very helpful binder. The room was very comfortable and Richy was a hoot! Excellent host. I would recommend this property. Looking at the rooms, we weren't sure what to expect, but it was a great stay!"

"We went to the cave and this was close place. Rooms were nice. We arrived late and had to go to town for food that was about 12 min away. While we were there we found this great handmade baggage store.. Awesome work and nice guy. Don't remember the name but it was next to the only gas station."

"Evan's directions took us straight to our accommodation. The road up there was interesting but shouldn't put people off coming to this gorgeous part of the country.The farm was great to walk around and our dogs enjoyed it too. Great location for dark skies for astrophotography.The best compliment we can give is that we will go back."
