"Hotel was great! We walked from the train station to the hotel as only had carry on luggage. it is an oasis in a busy area. Quiet and tranquil and when you walk outside, you are in city centre and able to walk everywhere. Rooms are super comfortable and air conditioned! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend"

"Room was on the 6th floor. Weren’t told the correct lift at first so got a little lost . Had to go back to reception and were given correct instructions to find the room. Exceptionally hot during stay but air con in room was excellent thankfully. Very good location - next to Central Station and close to centre. Dam Square 10-15 min walk, Ann Frank House 25 min walk. Security in hotel very good - bar area very pleasant and reasonably priced . Towels were’nt the best quality- very thin and not generous in size. A non slip mat to use in the shower would be useful as I nearly slipped a couple of times Communal areas could have been cleaner dirt on the stairs remained for the duration of my stay and used food containers left outside rooms for a couple of days. . Overall staff friendly and helpful - a good budget hotel at a decent price . Would use again for convenience ."

"This is a very caring hotel! The weather was extremely hot while we were in Amsterdam. The hotel had ice in a big bowl in the lobby one day and the next there was a freezer filled with frozen fruit pops. The staff goes above and beyond daily! The room was so comfortable and well appointed."

"I spent a considerable amount of time trying to decide on a hotel for a family of 4. Took weeks to decide. This hotel was truly perfect. The location, size of the family suite, huge bathroom (for Europe). The canals on the side were loud for maybe one hour a night in total and then quiet the rest of the night. We used a sound machine and it was just fine. My only complaint is that when you have a family suite and you know there are 4 guests, leave 4 towels. We consistently were given 3 towels and then had to call down for the 4th. Which of course they brought no problems. Just a detail thing. We would stay again. Had the best time in Amsterdam even if it was during the heatwave."

"We had superior room on the second floor exactly as on the picture. Good size, clean, renovated, air-cond, coffee machine, fridge in the room, comfortable bed. For that big room I can say is a lacks of furniture. Looks empty. No shelf, nowhere to put your stuff, no where to hung up the coats, very small wardrobe. The same for the bathroom. The door is not not well sealed and the light and noise from hallway seep inside. Central location just steps off Dam square, walking distance of Central Station and sightseeing. Have a free luggage lockers. Good hot and cold breakfast, variety of food."
