"We had a very pleasant stay in the French part of Saint-Gingolph. It was a great location for going hiking in the nearby mountains, and also for other activities around the lake. From the very start of our stay our hosts were very attentive, from offering to go the pharmacy (I was poorly first couple of days) to giving us great advice on where to go and what beaches to visit.
