"Beautiful hotel in rural setting. Owner Miguel reserved our Acoura 516 bridge tickets as our international charge card was not accepted. The continental buffet breakfast was delicious and freshly served. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evening which Miguel started each evening. If we return to the area to hike we will definitely stay here again. It was impressively clean and staff (his family :) friendly. "

We loved exploring Aveiro one day and having a lazy hotel day the next, when we took advantage of both pools, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and sensorial shower! The restaurant experience exceeded our expectations, with excellent service, 6 delicious "moments", and perfect wine pairings. Should the opportunity arise, I would not hesitate to stay...

"Excellent hotel, great breakfast. Park in their garage for 7 E per night or free on the main street 5 min. away. Not much to see or do in Costs Nova but you are on the ocean and only 12 min away from Central Averio. If you think you can sit on the beach don't count on it; the winds are extremely strong most of the time. Still , it's a great spot to stay and get away from the bustle of the city which has plenty of parking, most of it free. Beds in this hotel are descent."

"Hotel is situated on the road opposite the access to the beach and beach bars. Tourist information next door where we used bikes for the day for free biking into Ovar. Short stroll to get on the beautiful white sandy beaches. Breakfast buffet, few (luke) warm options, fruit, breads, cereal's, cakes etc, . Spa and pool is extra to use (€12) and only get 3 coffee pods in the room (no kettle), any more have to pay for, not even topped up daily when staying for more than one night. Limited parking...

"Hotel is great place to stay if you’re visiting Averio. Only two miles from Costa Nova. Quiet beach town with studio rooms. Only a few feet from beautiful beaches and cafes. Breakfast had a good variety and to top it off the view of lighthouse was spectacular."

"We received a very warm welcome from the owners, even though we arrived later than planned. We were able to enjoy a toasted sandwich in the peaceful garden. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are decorated with great care, maintaining the old style yet offering all the modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, homemade jam, and lemonade. A place to return to!"

The decor is gorgeous, rooms spacious with lovely high ceilings and it is immaculately clean. "Small hotel just minutes walking from anywhere you want to go in Viseu. Has off street parking and offers a reasonable breakfast spread. Rooms are comfortable enough for a night. Staff all friendly and helpful."
