"A nice old house with enough space for us to stay. The house is old, but has everything you need to stay (although the washing machine is old, small and has low spinning so it takes some time to dry) and the wifi is poor. Lot's of opportunities for hiking in the area, and also to go with the ferry to the other side. The house is in Ortnevik (we thought it was in Bjordal) at the end of a road. Joar is a very friendly and helpfull guy, and is easy to reach. We recommend this house for a stay."

Its picturesque location was also perfectly situated in the center of many possible day excursions. Coming from the USA, it was a long journey getting here. "Amazing views, comfortable living quarters, plenty of space - all very good. Ideal for very large families (6-9) and two families. "

"We have been to the cabin in Vallavik for a week at the end of August and enjoyed it a lot. It is a perfect place for excursions and hikes around the hardanger fjord. The view on the fjord and the bridge is really great."

"I came to Ulvik/Villavik to see where my ancestors once lived and to walk where they once walked. The Handanger Fjord and all areas surrounding are amazing! Vallevik Fjordhytter, our cabin on the mountain was charming and peaceful and everything one could want! Paul was there for us if we ever needed anything or had any questions, very kind! I would love to return some day and if I do I hope to stay here again."
