"It looks like people are living in the building and some apartments are rented out. The building was safe and quiet but there are no food options onsite. The apartments also had slightly different items (e.g. one had 2 heaters and a hairdryer whereas the second apartment only had 1 heater and no hairdryer). Both had good views. The building is close to Sandton Mall. I was in contact with reception via WhatsApp and they were very accomodating to my requests and very responsive. "

"We booked this place and were casually told that they had another family in the unit and so they were overbooked. All this happened last minute. If you choose to book this property, be aware that you can get bumped last minute and find yourself looking for another hotel in a foreign country. "

"The unit was very nice and fully equiped with everything that you may need. The only downfall and a very minor one is that they don't provide shampoo."

"This is a fine basic residential apartment. I had a nice stay and no major problems. The wifi was fine. The kitchen is sparsely supplied. The A/C worked well. The rooms were serviced well. Sometimes the gate was unlocked and unattended at night. I think there is a sewage leak in the main parking lot, which was unpleasant. The mattress could do with being replaced. There is a nice restaurant on one side; but there is a squatter dwelling on the other side."

"Great quiet location, with all the facilities you need in an apartment, withing really close walking (safe) distance to the shops/restaurants of Melrose Arch. Next time in JHB (for cricket at The Wanderers), I will be staying at Villa Moyal again. Thank-you"

"I had a confirmed booking. Taveling from another country Day of check in was informed that previous guest wanted to extend. Offered me a place with bad rating at same price as my booked 4 star. Still waiting for refund Do not! Book from this owner. And VROB should not have them on their site. In am not done with this."

"Everything was perfect. The only thing the property needs to do is to invest some money to get an electrity generator for the lights and WiFi. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my time the property. Special thanks for George, Albert, and the people running the guest house. I definitely recommend it. On the other hand, I believe that having a car is a necessity to move around the city and its surrounding."
