"The food is the highlight. We couldn’t eat at the Michelin rated restaurant but we did eat the signature dishes at the affiliated bistro. OUTSTANDING!! This place is in the middle of no where and felt like Willy wonks land. The hotel is a maze with half floor stairs, passage a far distance to the pools , spa and breakfast. The rugs and interior are red and orange like a psychedelic trip. The electrical outlets are delicate. "

"The Hotel Les Saules is a wonderful hotel that is a must for that trip away for any reason. The staff are personable and welcoming; very professional. Vonnas is this beautiful little town in France that is a hot bed of culinary excellence and the gem of the hospitality industry. Our room was lovely and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and well thought out. Our room looked out over the square of the town which also served as the parking lot for everything,...

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Cosy hotel / with a funky charme. Located in a great park, outdoor seating for adults and playground for both children and dogs. We were there on a Monday when the 1 ⭐️ restaurant were closed, so we have to come back 😀"

"The stay at Hostellerie Sarrasine was more than lovely. The grounds are well kept and beautifully tended. The room was traditional and had modern technology. The best part was the food and service. The Famille Bévy had the most delicious French food; their cook incredible. The Bresse chicken is a must. The wine options phenomenal. The Famille Bévy were accommodating and so very warm to us. Would highly recommend this place for any looking to warm the soul. "

"The hotel was a charming place, had all the French old charms. Room was clean and neatly arranged. Staff was amazing, our Hostesses was fabulous and the breakfast was very well made and delicious. If you’re ever the area, I would highly recommend staying there at Hotel Au Coq Dort. "

"A lovely 3* hotel. Immaculately clean, well presented and with excellent service. The fit out of the rooms is new and well maintained; it is a little functional (rather than boutique), in keeping with many modern hotels, but is enhanced by lots of little touches of colour and style (paintings, bed runners, etc). The beds were very comfortable. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent (but if you want frog legs, you'll need to order those in advance!)"
