Lodge Impluvium

If our accommodation has been created on this site, at the gateway to the Volvic impluvium, but also to the Chaîne des Puys, it is because it has been thought out and designed to limit their impact on the environment as much as possible.

Also, in order to help us keep this process going, here are a few gestures that can help preserve this beautiful nature that surrounds you!



Light: All the bulbs in the Resort are LEDs. They are therefore less energy-consuming than all other bulbs. However, they should only be used if really necessary, and turned them off as soon as possible...

Water: In order to reduce water consumption (while keeping a comfortable flow), the lodges are equipped with pressure reducers. The toilets are equipped with 3/6 liter tanks as needed. The water you will find at the tap is of course drinkable and can be consumed without worry! But even if we are only a few meters from the spring, don't forget that it is a precious asset to preserve. Try to limit its consumption for everything that is not vital!

Heating: The surface areas of the lodge modules were not suitable for the use of wood stoves, so we finally opted for electric auxiliary heaters. However, the orientation of the lodges, the windows with the windows, the insulation (wood fibre and glass wool duo) and the green roofs allow us to obtain buildings that consume very little energy.

Air conditioning: Don't look for it, there is none... As air conditioning is a major source of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, it seemed contadictory to us to install it in the heart of an eco-responsible complex. A little tip to gain precious degrees: close your curtains and leave your windows open (they are tilt and turn)

Waste: In order to help us with waste management and sorting, the lodges are equipped with selective sorting bins. You can easily separate glass, cardboard and plastic, as well as other household waste. Cleaning: All the household products used for the cleaning and maintenance of the lodges are eco-labelled.
