"We were pleasantly surprised with this location especially given the terrible reviews that it has. I can’t speak for the other rooms but we booked a “double partial sea view” and it was great! Room was decently clean, amazing location, and bed was comfy! Check in was a little confusing but if you call when you get there, they will send Rosa to get you in. And yes, like some other reviews say, she does take you to the downstairs closet looking room but if you’re nice to her, she’ll be nice to...

"My stay was amazing! The check in was perfect, the service was impeccable and the location was central to day trips up Almafi and quick access to Sorrento. If you are driving around town, check your route. I used GPS and it sent me down a traverse and it was narrow even for Italy and had traffic in both directions. I scratched my car. There is an alternate route into Sorrento that is equal travel time. Nothing to do with hotel but worth noting. "

"The place was very easy to find and conveniently located near the train station. We had a small wait for check in as you can either let them know what time you are arriving or call them at the apartment and they will come to check you in. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and absolutely ideal for a getaway with friends. There is a small kitchenette, and housekeeping refreshed our waters and coffee daily. There is enough kitchen equipment to make dinner - which we did twice during our stay....

"Great location to stay in as it’s close to restaurants, shops and places to see. There is a swimming pool but it is only open at certain times during the day as they use it for swimming lessons. The room was big with a huge terrace. The bed could have been a bit bigger than the double bed. "

"Poor service at checkin, had to fight to get the copy they took of my passport at checkout. Room was infested with ants so we could not have food in room and the air conditioner would not work. Asked for a new room but was denied, refused refund so we could check into an actual hotel but were told they have a no refund policy. Do not stay here especially when you can stay at another hotel very close for $10 more a night."

"Great location if you want to experience a nice view without the craziness of town, you can still take a free shuttle back and forth into downtown, very convenient and the staff is very nice and friendly."

"We waited two hours and noone ever came!!! Called the number given on our receipt and nobody answered. The neighbors finally came down to say the owners are not renting anymore. The building did not have any number. No name to ring and the facade no longer say « la vie en rose » as shown on their pictures online"

"The property was beautiful, quiet, and safe. The rooms were in immaculate condition. Property staff communication was excellent. We appreciated the free shuttle service to nearby restaurants which were also amazing. The only criticism was the limited hot water for the shower. Our favorite part of the stay was the restaurant attached to the property. The breakfast was exceptional every morning. What really made it special was the wait staff though. Mimo and Luigi in particular were so kind,...

"Lovely property, brilliant location. staff were attentive and helpful at all times. Shuttle service was AMAZING. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the breakfast and that they were not willing to source a milk alternative, even though the shop next door had 3 different options. "
