"Love the minimalist funky style, the mood lighting in the room, air con and so on. Bed very comfortable and room so quiet I had a good uninterrupted sleep. Not so sure about having to convert the bed from upright to horizontal to sleep and back again in the morning as it was slow and noisy; would prefer a traditional bed and a chair instead. Didn't like the toilet and shower being in the room inside glass cubicles either - not much privacy if sharing the room. Fantastic garden area, lovely reception area and bar but not much of a vibe as so few people there and I suspect that's because the hotel is such a long walk (and a ferry ride) away from Centraal Station. OK if you are fit, love walking and the weather is pleasant but otherwise too far away with no public transport close by once you leave the ferry. Appreciated everything (almost!) about this hotel except the remote location and that would put me off booking there again."
