Search Villas in Vodnjan

"The property is in a good location about 15 minutes drive to supermarkets in Vodnjan and 20 minutes to nearest beach at Peroj. We were two families with kids aged 12-17. The villa on first impression is modern and airy, however we felt that the general upkeep had been somewhat neglected. Eg irrigation to garden had broken- so grass was brown and dry. One parasol was missing and the other broken so little shade in the patio. Part of the sofa was broken. The coffee machine leaked. Pool maintenance was scheduled for the second day after arrival and took most of the morning. The patio door had been damaged by previous guests and the host had not been able to get it repaired. It was usable but not ideal. The equipment in the villa was lacking- eg not enough cutlery or mugs or glasses for each person. We ended up buying more. The overall cleanliness was below what we would normally expect. The host was apologetic- there had been problems with the cleaning company and previous guests causing damage. He ordered two new parasols when we asked but unfortunately they didn’t arrive in time for our stay. Communication with the host was ok- but it all felt a bit disorganised. Information that should have been written down was missing so he did his best to tell us everything we needed to know verbally when we arrived- but it was late and we were tired- so again, not ideal. "We are two families with children who stayed in this beautiful house in March 2024, and it was a great experience. The area is quiet and away from traffic. It is located a few kilometers from the beach and is close to historical cities such as Pula and Rovinj. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the historic center of the town. There are a few restaurants, two supermarkets, and a pharmacy, doctor, and vet located within 2 minutes away by car. The structure is provided by a large parking lot. The garden is beautiful and it has a many plants and trees. From there, you can watch your kids play or swim in the pool while sitting and taking a rest in a cozy armchair. The house is very large and comfortable, with air conditioning. The kitchen is well-equipped. Everything looks great and is very clean. We had a wonderful holiday. The owners were very kind, available for all our needs, and provided us with all the necessary information. We will definitely return."
