"We (family of 5, 3 teenage girls) enjoyed our stay at this house a lot. It was extremly quiet, as no neighbours were around. The pool as well as the house were clean, and regularly the pool man Kosta came to check on it. The house itself is very spacious, large living room. You can walk by foot on a gravelroad to the beach (5min), where it's not a sandy beach, but the water is just perfectly clean and nice. We also enjoyed other beaches in the area, as well as visiting the archeological sites....

"House in quiet residential area. Owner very responsive to requests. Walk to property is 15-20 minutes uphill from harbor. Make sure to wear good shoes. Air conditioner on both floors, Appreciated having a washing machine. "

"Very easy to deal with and lovely stay at the unique property. It's located in a lovely part of Greece with the nearby town having loads of great shops and restaurants. The property was clean, well maintained and had loads of space for people to do their own thing. Well equipped to cater for yourself and some of the restaurants also did delivery. Couple of points: Mattresses are quite firm, some toppers available would be good. There was a couple of bedrooms listed that were not either available...

"We had a lovely week in the villa, there were 13 of us and more than enough space for all. The fantastic house is matched by its host - Aris. We opted not to hire a car (potentially a mistake) but Aris arranged taxis for us and even took us shopping! The consummate host. He also recommended and booked local tavernas for us which were fantastic in both the cuisine and the ambience / location. Aris also helped us with the bbq and pizza oven - nothing was too much trouble. A big shout out also...

"Der Außenbereich lässt keine Wünsche offen. Mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten, im Schatten oder in der Sonne, ganz wie man mag, der grandiose Pool (Pooltiefe von 1,50m - 2,90m) und sogar eine Außentheke mit Kühlschrank machen das Ausspannen leicht. Kleiner Makel: die Küche nicht ganz so gut ausgestattet und fußläufig sind keine Geschäfte oder Lokale erreichbar. Trotzdem ist es für ein wunderbarer Ort für einen Urlaub."

"Suggest a movable u shaped railing to get into the pool for older people so not to take away from beautiful infinity look. Also bath mats for showers for safety. When you are over 80 you worry about these things."

"We had a lovely holiday in John’s villa. Everything was comfortable, from beds to pillows to lovely kitchen platters/ glasses etc. beautifully decorated and a lovely lady Nevilla to come and help clear up. Beautiful views and pool but take ear plugs as there is building works around the property which start early ( but not for too long as so hot ) a beautiful house all round and a charming host, thankyou soo much for a lovely holiday"

"Lovely home with lots of character & atmosphere. Beautifully presented & the listing is very accurate. Pictures don’t do it justice. Has everything you need & the courtyard to sit & enjoy coffee is a highlight. This certainly a steep ascent. Don’t forget your reading glasses for a day at the beach !! And communications re check in could have been a little more proactive. All worked out & went smoothly but felt v last minute. But otherwise it’s very sweet."

"This is a really amazing house with excellent communication from the property host as well as attention to detail. We were a large group of 15 people and had a very good time in the evenings by the pool and exploring the area, which is really well situated for plenty of day trip options. "@The property owner (host) was wonderful to us. He helped us with every issue. For example when we noticed there were sea urchins in the water he lent us water shoes we could go swimming. This was restful and relaxing , you can hear the waves lapping at the shore."

"Charming seafarer’s cottage! It was in a beautiful location with incredible views over the water and the town of Hydra. Literally 5 minute walk up a stoney path to the nearest little beach with crystal clear water (bring your water shoes) with gorgeous views all the way. 20 minute walk into town with lots of restaurants available.
