Made by Trappist monks, they only make enough to ensure their way of life so you can't buy it to take away, you can only drink it on site. They also produce a medium and a blonde beer. "This little place had so much character. I think the host built it by hand. It is indeed "petite". I would not recommend to anyone taller than 5 foot 10 inches (178cm) 🙂. The hosts went above and beyond, very welcoming and helpful. I stayed with my son, he loved the little cozy bunkbed. There isn't any privacy but I was staying with close family so that didn't matter. I would definitely stay there again."

"Very comfortable room and parking around hotel and underground if wanted. My key card kept going ....It happens to me a lot....a d the staff were very accommodating. Only complaint was the price of the breakfast. But it was tasty. Would highly recommend as also in great central position. Was travelling solo with hound "

"Four chaps on a motorcycle holiday, we stayed two nights and it was perfect for us. Rooms were clean with good bathrooms, breakfast was great, the bar was open and if you didn’t fancy a 30 minute walk into the centre of Ypres, a taxi ride was €15. So much to see in the area. Staff were great and really helpful. Not fancy but a perfect base."

"Holiday Suites was great! In a brilliant location with a lot for the kids to do. Access was really easy, lovely restaurants just down the road and a awesome beach just a couple of minutes drive. Stayed with 2 of our kids and the apartment offers all you need for a great stay! definitely recommend."
