The owners added extra touches with fresh bread, homemade soup and cake they had made with fresh produce from their garden. The children loved it and said they felt like they were in a treehouse!!! "After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. "

"We loved our stay. The home was perfect for us and we ere able to walk everywhere. Traditional French workers cottage immaculate. It sleeps 6 but that wouldn’t b advisable as the space would.not be sufficient. The headspace going upstairs is low for those tall boys and the shower won’t hold two! It’s small but so is the space. Perfectly appointed. The owner so kind and accommodating. The online ad is run by their child so you have to communicate directly with the owner over the phone. 📞 old...

"Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the IBIS Sarlat. The staff went out of their way to make you feel really welcome and were incredibly helpful making suggestions on places to visit to make your stay memorable. When there was a problem with the TV, in the room, the staff did their utmost to repair it. When they realised they would have to call someone in, to solve the problem, they immediately arranged a move to a much larger room and helped transfer clothing/other possessions. They were like breath of fresh air and are a credit to the hotel chain. The room was also exceptionally clean which was a real treat to see. If only other hotels were like this. The other great thing is the hotel is located directly opposite from one of the better restaurants, in the town, and is only a 10 min stroll to the medieval town centre which is beautiful to walk around. "
