There's 2 large bedroom in main house as well as a large kitchen, family room and game room with fooseball table, ping pong ball table, bean toss and plenty of board games for everyone to enjoy. This large private house has additionally three bedrooms and the back house has one bedroom.

Every one in the family can have their own space in this house. Large salt water lap pool for enjoying sunny California. The balcony is perfect for watching the sunset and 2 gazebos for relaxing. The large main kitchen, family and game room is ideal for everyone to gather for meals and ffun.

Close proximity to all SoCal attractions - Wild Animal Park, Zoo, Sea World, Legoland, Disneyland. Less than ten miles to Carlsbad beaches and Oceanside Harbor and Pier. Wedding Weekend/Family Beach Time
The salt pool was awesome and stunning, very cold of course. Found the switch to lights/waterfall at night and was great. There are 8 rooms (including game room) total of 9 beds. Lots of games in the game room as well which was fun as well as the coolest room in house. My attorney who is also friend stayed in casita and loved it was also great temperature in room. There are also three kitchens. Main house has the main, downstairs has one with the single bed. Upstairs has one shared bathroom and the master with two beds have one. Some Personal Cons: Window A/C units in select rooms in only 3 rooms. Some fans don’t work that are added to rooms, and front entry gate didn’t close/open. Major ants/spiders/tiny water-bugs. Wi-Fi didn’t work at the time of stay (didn’t use it till last day). But the house was breathtaking, Arlene was very responsive and helpful asking for photos to help, called clean team and internet company. My mom did ask the cleaning lady before we left to wedding venue if she wanted to use key to get in back house and the house keeper said yes in front of my party but told Arlene she didn’t have a key. I’m not sure on that confusion. The reception was beautiful, I had an emergency and she also allowed us to stay until we got our car situated. I didn’t hear any neighbors or direct street traffic. The property is huge. The casita also has no restrooms but you can walk to the door nearby or go up the stairs. If you have a big group, then this is perfect.

Family getaway
This home was excellent to accommodate our large group with all the age gaps and 2 with handicap accessible needs. Description says 8 miles to beach in which was part of the reason I picked this location which the beach was way further then 8 miles. The ower was great and very responsive and prompt. The salt water pool is a must but beware lots and lots of bugs overall enjoyed our stay owner is great and highly recommend this vacation property.

Beautiful property
We chose this property for its size and its permission to hold gatherings, as a number of us were traveling to the area for a small family wedding. The groom's entire family was able to sleep on the premises and we were also able to hold the (small) wedding reception there. Beds were comfortable and everyone had plenty of private space. The kids loved the game room and the pool/hot tub. Arlene was a great communicator and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, even dropping a few items off for us to make our stay more enjoyable. I do think the casita (smaller guesthouse) could use a little work. The kitchen is completely bare, rendering it unusable, and it has an undone, rustic feel to it. Bringing it up to standards with the main house would really push this listing over the top!

Perfect for large group
It was our wedding weekend so we had lots of friends coming from out of town to stay. We decided to book a place large enough so that everyone could be at the same place. This property was absolutely perfect for that. Plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone to be comfortable. The host was responsive when we had questions about the pool lighting and jacuzzi controls. Overall would definitely book again if I had a large group!

Great for family vacation
This was a very nice house for our group of eight adults and nine children. Some repairs were needed but everyone was comfortable. Arlene was always very responsive with any of our concerns. The pool was the highlight of the stay. The children enjoyed the game room.

Family Vacation
We had a wonderful time at this property! We had fifteen people with us, 5 guests, age 5 and under. There is a huge driveway where we were able to park our cars. There is plenty of driving area so no car blocks another. The kitchen, dining room and family area is spacious. We prepared most of our meals at the property. Everyone had their own bedroom space and there were nice bathrooms for all. The gated pool was a highlight for our family. We felt our children were safe. The kids really enjoyed the game room. The casita was also nice with its own shower. We enjoyed our evenings out on patio. We had a great time!

Great Place for Family Reunion
The home worked out very well for our extended family. Although the pool was not in operation the day we arrived, it was available the second day, and our grandchildren loved it. Our daughters-in-law liked the big island for meal preparation. We (the grandparents) liked staying in the "casita" nearby the main house but the floor sloped in the living room space and in the bedroom and it was hard to adjust to.

This place accomadated our large family. Very large lot for all the kids to run about flying airplanes. The pool of course was a must. The pool is large, clean and nice. The hot tub was enjoyed every night. We would come back!

If you are looking for a large, family friendly house, this is a great spot. We had 18 family members for the weekend to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. We especially loved the pool and hot tub. Arlene was quick to fix the hot tub when it was not working on arrival. The only downfall was it lacked finesse in terms of a "white glove" experience, but that wasn't a priority for our large group. I would definitely recommend Arlene's house for your next large group trip.

Family stay for our daughters wedding in Vista
This property fit our needs perfectly. We needed a place to gather before and after our daughter’s wedding, that took place in town. Arlene greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. She was very responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend this property if you are looking a a comfortable, spacious place to gather with friends and family.

We stayed at this location to celebrate my son's graduation from the Marines bootcamp. We were expecting 14 or 15 to stay and due to some unforeseen issues, we only had 8 staying at the house which is close to the right amount unless there are couples and families staying here. Let me first say the house is nice and has a lot of room in the yard. The pool and hot tub were also nice to enjoy. The listing says there are 7 rooms, I am not sure how they were counting but I got to 6 max. Sleeping 21 in this house would be tight!! Besides the way the beds are laid out, the other reason that I was happy to have only 8 people staying at the house was that the septic system backed up into the shower. We called the homeowner and they were quick to have the plumber come out which was much appreciated. The plumber arrived and told me he knew what to do as if he has been there a few times before for the same problem. We also called the home owner for help on how to turn on the hot water in one of the showers - it was very sensitive as well to notify her that there are ROOSTERS next door and on the other side dogs that are outside all of the time and bark when the roosters make noise. The roosters started at about 4:30 AM. In the Casida it is obvious that there was a flood in the bathroom. There are water stains on the wall with evidence of mold. The house worked for us, but it does need some updating and maintenance. I did appreciate the prompt responses from the owner.

Recommend to explore the layout of the home to get used to it before your guests arrive if possible. Arlene was prompt in answering any needs or issues we had within the hour during our stay.

Amazing Property!
The pictures just don’t do this place justice! Serene, beautiful, big, stunning and just what our family needed for a long Christmas getaway. Very interesting layout for the property but had all we needed. I can’t wait to come again in the summer to take advantage of the pool! Highly recommend.
