"Staff was very friendly, breakfast was not bad but a little pricey even for a buffet Room, bathroom, sheets and towels were clean. Thank you to the housekeeping staff that came in and cleaned and straightened out our room when we asked, very nice of them. One of the elevators was out of service and if you were leaving or coming back to your room, sometimes the staff were using the only working one, and you had to wait. Other than that, a really good place to stay, will stay there again"

"The Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Oceanside is an extremely nice place to stay. Safe, clean, spacious rooms and a killer view of the beach and ocean. There is a magnificent boardwalk that runs along the hotel. Great breakfast buffet every day of your stay with many choices. Plenty of dining options in the area. Plenty of gift shops. Also there is is trolley you can take all day to get you from one point to another. One way ticket is $2. You can also buy an all day pass. The only negative is that it is a pet friendly hotel, so you don’t know if someone will be next to you in a room with a pet. I unfortunately had that experience where the family went out and left their dog. It was whining and howling the entire time. Even at 11pm when I was very tired and trying to go to sleep. But they left the next day, thankfully. Would go back to Virginia Beach and stay at Hyatt Place again for sure. Was a wonderful hotel! "
