Skiferie i Telemark:)

Et fantastisk fint opphold!:) Andre år på rad, vi var på Raulandsfjell nå. på fredagen, var vi på Rauland skisenter som er ganske stort. Veldig fint der:)I fjor var det ikke nok snø i midten av bakken, til at vi kunne prøve hotellets eget anlegg, men det fikk vi nå! Kjempefine bakker, og vi fikk også med oss kveldskjøring. Vi valgte å tilbringe både lørdag og søndag der:) Så greit med ski-in/ski-out:) Bra hotellrom med det man trenger+ terrasse+ også veldig fint å sitte på uteserveringen rett nedenfor bakkene! Masse god mat og drikke. Spesielt pizza'en deres!:) Personalet er veldig hyggelige og serviceinnstilte:)

Det gildeste alpinsenteret jeg har besøkt til nå

Det aller viktigste for min familie når vi vurderer et skisted, er skibakkene. Og på Raulandsfjell er de suverent gode! Bratte og underholdende fra topp til bunn, og store muligheter for bratt offpiste kjøring. Men nesten like viktig er stemningen, og på Raulandsfjell var den veldig god. Veldig hyggelig vertskap, og alle ansatte som vi møtte. Om man ikke allerede er det, så blir man glad av å være på et sånt sted. Det er også helt suverent at det er så kompakt, at overnatting og kafe/ restaurant/ bar bokstavlig talt er i bunnen av bakken. Menyen er variert, og all mat vi spiste var førsteklasses. Stort pluss også for bevisst bruk av lokale råvarer. Selve lokalet var også et godt sted å være. Jeg og min familie bodde på aller billigste vis, 4 mannsrom i annekset. Det var helt OK, selvfølgelig enkelt, men rent og ryddig. Veldig flott kjøkken, for de som vil få ekstra mange skidager ut av pengene tilgjengelig. Man bor akkurat like sentralt, og blir tat i mot på samme gode vis, om man bor på enkleste vis. På Raulandsfjell er alt det som virkelig betyr noe for oss, av ypperste kvalitet. At ikke alt er nytt, betyr null for oss. Det var ei veldig flott helg, her kommer vi garantert tilbake!

Med livet som innsatts kom du deg in på rommet. Det var tykk is som ikke var strødd. Maten var kjempe god. Men dårlig info ang utsjekk. Så jeg la bare nøkkelen der da ingen var i resepsjon.

Et slitt og velbrukt hotell, vi lå ikke på selve hotellet, men på et bygg med flere rom og felles bad/toalett. Men, rommet vårt var rent og med en god madrass. Vi skulle bare ha en seng og sove i, og ta en dusj på morgenen. Til den prisen var dette helt perfekt. Renhold er alltid det viktigste for oss, og vi opplevde ett rent felles toalett/dusj. I tillegg ble vi møtt av en hyggelig mann i resepsjonen da vi ankom kl 23.30. I tillegg så møtte vi en annen hyggelig mann på morgenen som lagde frokost til oss til tross for at vi kom forseint til frokost, laget han frokost til oss.

Fin leilighet og god mat

Leide en leilighet som var eid av privatpersoner, men som ble utleid gjennom Raulandsfjell når de ikke brukte den selv. Fin, velholdt leilighet, om enn litt vanskelig å finne. Veldig god mat i restauranten - de hadde texmex- og pizzakveld den kvelden vi var der, og spesielt pizzaen var særdeles god. Alt i alt, bra plass som jeg gjerne kommer tilbake til, selv om jeg ikke er interessert i ski og vintersport!

God komfort på Raulandsfjell

Loftsleiligheten var romslig og hyggelig innredet, med masse komfort. To bad og tre sovealkover, men et lite minus er at det ikke er takvindu i disse, slik at det kan bli noe tett luft. Variert frokost, og trivelig spisesal. Resepsjonisten var litt uvennlig, men dem som serverte frokosten ga et godt inntrykk.

Kurant opphold på Raulandsfjell

Vi booket 3 netter på Raulandsfjell for å stå på ski. Vi var 3 personer på et rom, men fikk kun 2 sengeplasser, til tross for at reservasjonen sa 2 enkle køyesenger (dvs 4 sengeplasser). Det skal sies at det var dobbeltseng + vanlig, som sikkert fungerer hvis man er par + 1 barn eller noe sånt, men vi var 3 mannfolk så da sov en på sofaen under oppholdet. Resten av overnattingsstedet var helt ok, noe slitasje betegnende for et 2 eller 3 stjerners hotell. Beskrivelsen og bildene på hotels.com var mangelfull, så vi visste ikke hvordan rommet egentlig så ut på forhånd og hva som var inkludert eller ei. Jeg vil anbefale å ringe direkte til overnattingsstedet for å få riktig info. Telefonnummeret til overnattingsstedet manglet også på hotels.com. Beliggenheten er i utgangspunktet perfekt plasser i bunnen av skitrekket. For vårt opphold var skitrekket stengt pga lite snø, så vi kjørte eller tok skibuss (gratis) til Rauland skisenter 15 min unna. Dersom føret hadde vært bedre ville Raulandsfjell vært ideelt for en aktiv ferie.

Fantastisk hyggelig og service innstilt betjening. Ypperlig beliggenhet i bunnen av Raulandsfjell alpinbakke. Rommet var slitt og trengte oppussing.

Rauland Alpinsenter

The hotel is excellent value and in the perfect location. The hotel is literally on the slope and the free bus to the other resorts runs from outside the door. The pub/bar/restaurant was good value and had a great amosphere. The “alipnesenter” appartments are in the adjeacent building. The showers and toilets are shared between the 13 rooms, thankfully we picked a quiet weekend! The cooking and lounge facilities were excellent and had everything you needed. For a budget weekend away, it was a very good option. The big negative was the service. When we arrived (20:00) the reception was shut and took a while before we found a way into the building to find someone. The gentleman who served us initially told us we needed to pay much more money but retracted after showing him the booking confirmation. Overall, good budget hotel in an unbeatable location.
