We booked the room, and got a confirmation both from Hotels.com and a message in the app, that we were welcome. We arrived, 1930, after 8 hours drive, and looked forward for a good dinner... The hotel was overbooked, and no room available for us. I am not sure who is responsible to maintain availability towards Hotels.com, but I assume it is the hotel sharing their availability. My advice would be to call the hotel, and check their availability. Staff did not speak Norwegian.

Hotellet ligger i den dejlige norske natur på Rauland. Lidt ærgerligt at personalet ikke taler norsk, al kommunikation sker på engelsk. Hotellet er lidt slidt, og den ene morgen var der kun lunken vand i badet.

Han som resepsjonen var meget hyggelig, imøtekomme og hjelpsom + artig. Kelneren car tafatt og dårlig. Rommet var dårlig og slitent. Ikke helt om med rengjøring. Middagen kan ikke kalles koldtbord og var høyt priset for utvalget. Frokosten var heller ikke noe høydare. Dårlig matutvalg. For dyrt i forhold til hva du fikk.

Brukte ca 30 min å sjekke inn. Grunnen var at resepsjonisten var opptatt å jobbe som bartender. Når det gjelder buffeen kom ryddepersonalet to ganger før kelneren kom å spurte om drikke til maten. Måtte pent takke nei ettrsom vi hadde spist i ca 45 min.. skulle sjekke ut på morgenkvisten. Måtte stå som nr 2 i køen ,som forøvrig er en hyggelig situasjon. Dessverre tok dette ca 30 min pga resepsjonisten ikke klarte kommunikasjon med kunden før oss. Så var det vår tur. Hun forstsatte med feil priser og masse surr.. påskens høydepunkt kom nå ettersom vi endelig hadde kommet hjem.

En mega hyggeligt hotel, hvor nostalgien er bevaret. Intet luksus, men super fint og mega hyggeligt med en stor pool. Rigtig god mad der virkelig smagte fantastisk. Lige overfor (30 meter) ligger en super løjpe, med aftenski, så man virkelig fik noget for pengene.

Først kom vi til et værelse som ikke var rengjort, fik så et nyt, dette var heller ikke rengjort. Vi ventede så 30 min, her kom vi så til et rent værelse. Varmen var ikke super god. Til aften fik vi buffet, denne var middelmådig men tros alt dyr. Lokationen er super
