"With a metro station a block away and all the amenities nearby, this is in a great location for exploring Paris. The apartment was very clean. It could use a little maintenance, but everything worked as needed. The host was very responsive to communication. It's next to an elementary school, so you hear kids during the day, but it's quiet at night."

"It was great that it was close to the metro, so easy to get to the main sights. Lovely cemetery nearby. The boulangerie was right across the street and always open and well priced. 1€ baguette every morning! It seemed safe to an extent, though not as comfortable as some other neighbourhoods we ventured around. Not all of the plugs seemed to work. We enjoyed all of the items provided, though there wasn’t shampoo. Overall it was quite a lovely find!"

"Street level apartment in a great location within walking distance of Marais and neighboring attractions. The street is generally not busy but you will easily hear street noise if that is a concern. The apartment was very clean and well appointed with good water pressure and plenty of hot water for laundry and showers. "We stayed for 1 week at Emmanuel's place. We started communicating on WhatsApp prior to arriving at the location - I just punched his number into WhatsApp and started texting. We also got recs on a nearby boulangerie. We had a midnight check in which went smoothly. Upon checking in our group could tell that we were visiting someone's home rather than a vrbo that was just bare bones. There was a ton of personal touches and books which made us feel we were at home. There is a bar across the street...

"The location is perfect for exploring Paris. A pattisserie, a frmagerie, a boucherie are one minute away. Arts e metier metro station is a few minutes away Note that the apartment is VERY small. If you have two big suitecases and open them at once, there will be hard to find a place to step. And also you may have hard times hauling these suite cases up the narrow stairs. "
