"Nice hotel and very convient with excellent breakfest"

"Family of six from Boston, stayed for 2 nights during Spring Break (April 2025). We stayed in the cottage which was very comfortable. There are plenty of beds for us six, and we got to see northern lights in the first night! Overall an amazing stay and would definitely go back again! The hotel has couple Border Collies on site who are super friendly. We enjoyed petting them :) A few things that could’ve made the stay over-the-top awesome: 1) microwave in the room, 2) on-site or in-room washer/dryer, 3) more food selection for the breakfast buffet. But these aren’t deal breakers for us. We enjoyed the stay a lot without them."

"Great night in the igloo. We only stayed one night and we had the BEST show of the northern lights. Overall great time. Not sure if I would have stayed more nights just due to the small area of the igloo and the non private bathroom /showers. But it was great for one night. Must do "

"We truly had a wonderful stay at Midgard basecamp! The staff were fantastic, the room was comfortable, the amenities were amazing(special shoutout to the shoe drying station) and the restaurant was delicious. We will gladly return next time we are in the area. Ps: we also booked a guided tour with them and it was a truly fantastic experience and a highlight of our trip, we can't recommend it enough!"

"El hotel es muy agradable. Localizado justo en la capital. El desayuno muy bueno y variado. Su personal es amable. El único inconveniente es que su estacionamiento es muy pequeño así que muy pocas veces existe la posibilidad de estacionar en el hotel por lo que hay q estacionar en la calle (que es seguro hacerlo) pero hay que pagar por dejarlo en la calle."
