"The property was nicely decorated and within walking distance of the major attractions in Siena. Not sure if it is an Italian thing, but, the ones we have stayed at don’t provide soap for showering. Only downside, and that is not too important. "

"My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Cavarchino. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the Tuscan hills out the window. The bed was very comfortable. The whole property and residence has a peaceful and calm feel to it. The breakfast and coffee were tasty. We enjoyed biking while in the area and wine tasting. Would love to come back during a season when the pool is open! "

"We were on the 1st floor of the villa, and although we’d booked a private bathroom this wasn’t part of the room but across the corridor which was shared with 2 other rooms. Not ideal in the middle of the night! Window to view was very small and didn’t have a curtain, but actually the location is lovely (10 min drive to Sienna) and breakfast is adequate. Can imagine the pool would be lovely in summer. "

"What a find! You’d never know that a lovely well appointed home away from home boutique hotel is behind the wooden door right inside the Via Romano gate. Our rooms were clean and bright with a view of Siena. Our host Ana was so attentive to our needs and gave us great recommendations. Breakfast was varied and abundant and served by another Ana who was very helpful too! With only four rooms, it felt like an oasis away from the Siena hustle and bustle. "The location is great, you have beautiful Tuscan view in front of yard. The room and bathroom are large, clean and modern with full kitchen. Good choice of breakfast, restaurant onsite is good for dinner. Free parking is good for travel by car."
