"I loved this hotel and loved Montreux! It's a beautiful town (though very expensive, like all of Switzerland). The room was spacious and comfortable with a gorgeous view from the balcony and the bathroom was also spacious. The breakfast was pretty good with decent options. This hotel is on near the end of the Montreux lake-side path so it's a long - but very pleasant - walk to Chateau de Chillon. I love walking though so that was a perk for me. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. "

For a gourmet meal, walk down to the sister hotel, the Villars Palace. Experience the deck with a vast view and a historic bar/apothecary and lounge. Even the shared bath single rooms are cozy."

The rooms were kept to a high cleanliness standard. The attached restaurant offered a good selection on the menu which was very tasty.
