The house is a traditional farm house and doesn't have a lot of modern comforts, but it's perfect for a comfy, peaceful escape from the modern world We had a comfortable and happy stay, the pool is a highlight, it was great and we had a lot of fun there. It is a bit remote, there is a nearby service station with some limited food and drink options if you're desperate, but you will need to drive to explore....

It was spotlessly clean, the pool was amazing and perfect with the views, the house is well stocked and our host Juan Carlos and his family were wonderful. "Beautifully kept property with a fabulous pool. Right in the middle of the olive growing region about 10 minutes to the local town of Iznajar. Good roads to the property. The hosts live in half of the property and the other half is for guests. There are air con towers provided, generally these would be sufficient, but temperatures reached about 41 degrees while we were there. Location was great for those looking for somewhere to escape tourist hot spots but there weren’t many local restaurants that were open for us (though we were travelling with a toddler who eats supper at 5pm!!) and Iznajar (the nearest town) was pretty dead though we were there mid July, which was a bit odd. "We stayed in this house for 8 nights, it was great! We enjoyed the common areas as well as the privacy of the separate rooms that most of them are connected through inner patio. Swimming pool was great. The entire property is well maintained, clean and convenient. Looks like Peggy was thinking about every detail when planning this place. "The area and views are fabulous and the host very friendly. We felt like the property hadn’t been totally prepared for us as no gas bottle for bbq, no pool towels, no logs for burner and no waste bags. We had to chase for instructions on how to get there. You need these as you will never find the villa without them. The villa is rustic and elements need updating. Sun beds and outside table by the pool were broken. "The property is absolutely beautiful and is located in a very, very small town outside the very small town of Iznájar. The countryside is beautiful, rolling hills covered with olive groves. The patios and pool area are gorgeous. It’s a good choice if you have a car. I think it would be tricky if you’re relying on a train or bus system to get places.
