"The stay was wonderfull in a calm area. Good pool and super room with a good firm bed. We had the menu in the restaurant Nube and a red wine from Valbusenda winery, Vivo 2011. Very good. It was a good experience. The only thing was that we after the dinner asked for a wine from the winecard but not the house and they did not have it. We asked for 4 different wines on their winecard and they did not have them. The parking was free and in the cellar and when leaving we got cold water for our trip."

"Good, no frills hotel at a decent price. Bed, bath, size all fine, clean. There is a good bar (and restaurant maybe) attached to the hotel that is popular with the locals and less touristy than most. Plenty of street parking. Just outside the main tourist area (3-5 mins walk to Alcazar). "

"Pros: Hemos pasado el finde de Carnavales rodeados del calor de los amigos y del reconfortante ambiente de la Casa Vega del Esla. Una casa puesta con buen gusto y que llama a la tranquilidad, el olvido del reloj y por supuesto te deja con ganas de volver. "This is a charming hotel on the edge of the town of Toro. We found parking right outside the hotel very easily when we arrived at the check-in time. Absolutely stunning views of the whole area from our bedroom and the restaurants within the hotel The hotel receptionist spoke fairly good English and was really kind and suggesting places we could go and try the local wine. The place is just turned out to me Ideal as we managed to join another group who are having a tour which is something we have been unable to book before we arrived, so we were very pleased. We ate in the hotel in their café because it was raining. It was all inside but if it was warm, you could sit outside and have a lovely view. The restaurant staffs English was a bit patchy and our Spanish is even worse but with the use of Google Translate we managed to order a meal we ended up having the biggest steak I’ve ever seen in my life a bottle of wine a salad and potato croquettes as part of a package deal for two people which came to about €52, which was really good value in our opinion The room was basic but very Spanish decent size bed ideal to crash for a night and in my opinion very good value. If I was coming through here again, I would return . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for someone else to stay. "

"Hotel Santiago in Benavente is an excellent first class 5 stars Hotel. Great service and beautiful rooms. Located walking distance to downtown with shops, restaurants and a splendid Spaniard architecture and old streets. Across the hotel is the La Rocha restaurant, considered the best in the area , delicious home cooked food. Complete dinner €12 including an appetizer, main course, desert, and a bottle of house wine. Definitely our favorite during our trip! "
