"Only a quick overnight stay in our journey. Was perfect for that. Only thing was it was implied breakfast was free mon- fri and only chargeable at weekends and we got charged for it on a week day. Apart from that, no issues. "

"This was a stopover going South and returning two weeks later, so only two nights in total. It is beautifully appointed, the bedrooms (en suite) are amazing and breakfast typically continental (bread, croissants, fruit juice, yoghurt etc) No evening meal available but an excellent restaurant within half a mile (ask madame) Would happily stay there again should the opportunity arise Very useful to have at least a smattering of French as I'm not sure she speaks any English, but, don't let that stop you going there."

"Property is a little dated. Tv didn’t work properly had massive lines running through the picture, bed had a raised middle, staff was friendly and a nice breakfast! "

"Conveniently situated for our journey and also for refuelling and a supermarket. Clean, comfortable room and a good shower enabled a peaceful night's sleep. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. A kettle was available on request to make a hot drink. The tasty and filling breakfast was reasonable priced too. We have used this hotel many times and it has never disappointed."

"A stale kitchen smell hung around the reception and permeated the building. No lights were on and it was like entering a dark cave. I normally like quaint old hotels but this was just down at heel and dispiriting. The photographer must be very clever as the reality was dismal. The sauna was an extra 55 Euros so we didnt use it and didn't eat there as the stale smell was so unappetising. We would not have stayed except that we had booked and paid in advance."
