"This is part of the bar on the high street. All the locals use it and there is much shouting and door slaming at the end of the evening. Then very quiet. Staff were very helpful despite my lack of Spanish. "

"The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the rooms to the left, to the right, above and below. If anyone chooses this hotel to use the Spa - don’t be fooled. You have to pay extra and the use is timely limited. All in all it has a alternative hippie charm. It was clean though. But not necessarily something I’d recommend "

"Estancia agradable. Apartamento grande y comodo con un jardin comunitario muy agradable. Esta bastante apartado de las zonas comerciales y ocio, el coche es necesario para cualquier cosa. Algunas cosas a mejorar: alguna pared con humedades, instalacion electrica con algun problema (luces parpadean o no se apagan), hormigas en cocina, desague ducha, sofa pequeño. Por el precio que pagamos no es mala opcion como base para ver Cantabria."

Extraordinariamente ubicados para acceder al Parque de Cabárceno y al pueblo y, obviamente, al maravilloso entorno de los valles pasiegos y las costa Cantábrica. "Charming country inn with gracious helpful hosts. Jose and Nuria are wonderful hosts, providing stylishly decorated rooms and common areas, lots of good advice for enjoying the area and delicious dinners. We were sorry to leave their home and would highly recommend staying here. Just take Jose’s advice for the best route up to the inn instead of what looks like the shortest route on a GPS site—which was more difficult tiny mountain roads."

"Beautiful hotel, very clean. Unfortunately not the best welcome, we were locked in the hotel for 50 mins by a random guy. No lights on. No instructions on how to access the key. We found the phone number and was able to call the hotelier who gave us instructions. There was no hotel phone to call though which was a pain too as we had to borrow one. We were ignored at breakfast, we weren't sure if we should sit ourselves or wait to be seated. After waiting a short while we sat ourselves as it was...

"it was lovely, very clean and big enough for a night, the only suggestion would be for the apartment to provide some coffee and milk or tea to ge able to make in the morning but it was really nice. "

"I would have rated the property much higher save for two issues. The good part was that the property was well located for us near major routes. It was spacious and clean. The bad part was that we didn't have any heat for the first half of our stay when outside temperature was 2 degrees. The other problem was check-in which supposed to be from 4-8pm but there was no-one there. After an hour we had to have someone call as their message service wasn't working. 15 minutes later someone arrived...
